This system will be a 5kw system which will include 12 Longi 450w panels (5.4kw actually).
Each panel is 45”x69” (21.5sqft). So the total space needed on a roof would be 258 sqft total.
The panels can be arranged in many different ways on your roof, so most houses will have to e space for this system.
If the system is pointing mostly south, it is estimated to generate around 6000kwh of energy per year. To put that into perspective, it should save roughly $1100/year on your power bill at the current rates. Obviously the rates will be going up over time, so that number only increases as the years continue.
