Terms and Conditions

By registering with Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited or any of its associated domains or companies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms, conditions, rules, and regulations stated below and anywhere else within this website without reservation or modification.

You certify that all the information you have provided to Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited on your registration is genuine, truthful, and accurate, and you undertake to update and maintain the accuracy of these registration details.

YOUR BID IS YOUR CONTRACT.

Buyers Premium. 

Please be aware that there is a 15% Buyers Premium added to the hammer price.

Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited will auto-bill the credit card provided by the user following each auction unless the user changes payment settings in their account (auto-bill must be turned off). You can pay for your items online with Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Discover using Elavon secure payments. You can also pay for your items at the time of pickup. We accept Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit, and Cash. All items purchased by the user online must be paid in full within three (3) business days of auction completion. Failure to do so could result in having privileges revoked and registration canceled.

Item Removal and Forfeiture: All items must be removed by the dates listed in the auction removal details. Failure to remove items by the specified time will result in forfeiture, and the items will become the property of Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited with no refunds given.

Returns Policy: All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Items may only be returned if they are not as described in the auction listing (e.g., not working when functionality was stated). If an item qualifies for return, it must be brought back within four (4) business days from the last pickup date of the sale. Returns will not be granted past this time.

Uncollected/Abandoned Items: All items must be removed by the dates listed in the auction removal details. Failure to remove items by the specified time will result in forfeiture, and the items will become the property of Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited with no refunds given.

Invoices and Payments:

• We are unable to separate or combine invoices.

• Payment and pickup times will be based on the date of the oldest item purchased.

No Warranty Provided:

• Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited does not offer any warranty on items sold.

• All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no guarantees or warranties of any kind.

• The item’s description is based on a general opinion and visual inspection only and does not constitute an official appraisal of value or functionality.

Shipping & Liability: Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited offers shipping for an additional fee. We are not responsible for items damaged during shipment and will not issue refunds for such damage.

Auction-Specific Terms: Certain auctions may be subject to additional terms and conditions. These will be disclosed in a timely and upfront manner. For example, off-site auctions may require faster item removal, which will override the standard pickup times.

User Responsibilities:

• Malicious, false, and non-paying buyers/bidders will have their privileges revoked and registration canceled.

• You must be at least 18 years old to register or use any Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited service.

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password and accept full responsibility for all activities under their account.

Intellectual Property: All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

Legal Compliance & Taxation:

• Most items listed and sold by Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited come from large online retailers, shipping companies, and courier firms, as well as consignments from private and governmental agencies.

• Items may be considered recovered, abandoned, refused, undeliverable, seized, forfeited, or “as found” and should be assumed to be “used” unless otherwise noted.

• Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited is not an authorized reseller of goods. Items sold at Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited are not covered by any manufacturer’s warranties.

• It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that an item is free from defects, recalls, or hazards, as per the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).

• All items are subject to applicable provincial and federal tax laws.

• Taxes will be applied based on the item’s pickup location or shipping destination as per tax regulations.

Changes to Terms & Conditions: These terms and conditions may be changed by Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited at any time. If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms shall remain in full force.

Auction Interruptions & Technical Issues: Due to the nature of web applications and technology, Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited reserves the right to pause, cancel, or restart the bidding of any auction if system errors or connectivity issues occur.

Final Note: Mariner Auction Marketplace Limited reserves the right to cancel, refuse, disqualify, or delete any auction, bid, bidder, buyer, or registrant at any time with or without cause.

Pickup Dates and Times:

• Monday March 10, 2025: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday March 11, 2025: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday, March 14, 2025: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Please be aware that pickup times are fixed and non-negotiable. Items not collected within the specified pickup window will be forfeited. Ensure you can commit to the pickup schedule before placing a bid.

Our staff is not responsible for loading or disassembling purchases. Buyers must bring their own assistance and tools for removal. All items must be picked up by 6:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2024.
